Time to wrap it up ... ;)

We have about a week left on the island now. Time is speeding up and things are all happening at once.  Our olive ridley nest hasn't hatched just yet. But it's getting close. As a matter of fact it's a matter of days.

I have to thank all the volunteers for monitoring both beach. Our morning walk here is about 10 km long. But we have a NEW nest. A green turtle decide to come out last night and put her eggs very close to our other nest. She made proper mess on the beach but I was able to locate the eggs and confirm this nest.. On top of that on Lina's birthday.

At present time, we have Alessandra (Italy), Emma (Ireland), Lina (Switzerland), Joost (Holland) and Alain (Belgium). All very happy with this new nest.

News from the rocks... 3 turtles spotted simultaneously. Yes three green turtles of different colors and sizes decide to come up and breathe at the same time. Cool, No ??

The weather has shifted to rainy season mode giving us heavy rain and cloudy skies.

I am sure Claudio (The King of the Mangrove) would love it.
