Injured turtles have reached the incredible number of 20 loggerheads and 2 greens. We have another 4 tanks before we start to panic ! :)

One of our greens , the well known Theodora (Psycho) is waiting for a new tank in an aquarium. The other one, the top favorite Dias has decided to start diving and eating, hoping to be released soon.

Hectoras, after biting Odyle's finger decided to eat up to 1 kilo a day left the center on the 23rd of July to return to the sea. Safe travelling, Big Boy !!

Christos and his cute girlfriend Carolina were released as announced. The were freed in the open sea near the island of Aegina.

Marina, who has arrived from Crete with a seriously injured head is recovering very well.

Volunteers come and go as usual : Rob, Alice, Alex and Jo have returned home. Kim and Emily are close to release day. Elisabeth and Cecile (from France) are also here.

Aino, one of our long term volunteers stopped on her way back from Rethimno. Before that Emil, her boyfriend, took us out for a well deserved and delicious Guinness.

Amy, an American girl who volunteered last year stayed with us for a bit

I will miss you loads. But don't worry, Guys, we will meet again.

It is still very hot here despite the few breezy days.

 Take Care

Keep in touch !
