Dear All,

Time flies when you're having fun, they say... Since the "Frenchies" (Galaaad, Didine, Franky, Bin Ben and Sabine) have been "released' back to the wild world, we are now down to 4 hard workers. Work takes longer here at the rescue center. We have now 18 turtles to take care of.

Trisha was set free. Thank you so much for your hard work and patience with me. Safe return to Ireland and your boyfriend. Good luck with Uni and everything.

 We had the pleasure to receive Cornelia (Swiss) and Catarina (Polish) to fill in and help us with all those turtles. Claudia is also here but for just a week returning after that to Zakynthos.

Everybody, I mean everybody, gathered at the center participate to a photo shoot. This should finalize our cooperation with Vodaphone. They are sponsoring a good part of all the maintenance to put the rescue center back into shape.

Well, the turtle must like the B&B we provide them because "Theodora" came back after 2 week out in the open. We discovered that she had eaten not only sea grass but bits of plastic on the way. We hope to send her off soon...

I have now less than a week to go before returning to France.

By the way, "Theodora" was sent to Rethimno (Crete) for a 2nd release. Being a very stressed animal, she didn't do very well. She is back with us until the next episode... Stay tuned
