... Time to Travel ...

Well it is this time of the year again :)

Every year I migrate to warmer beaches during the winter and go and work with Naucrates. This time it will only be for a couple of weeks since I have a paid job now ! ! Monica and Claudio, here I come !!

Here at the center, we still have the incredible amount of 21 turtles. There will spend the winter with us and hopefully most of them will be released around spring. The sea temperature is dropping despite the sunny weather. The turtle are becoming less active and losing some of their appetite. We have fitted most of our tanks  with heaters to keep the temperatures relatively stable. 

The EVS vollies are on their own now, but regular part time volunteers are around to provide precious man power.

Megan, Celine, and Andy have returned home and spend Christmas with Family or friends.

I'll be back at the beginning of February with a tan and loads of pictures from my lovely holidays.
