About me...

I discovered the importance on conservation through a Greek organization called Archelon. Their efforts were focused on the loggerhead sea turtle. I was always attracted by the sea and its inhabitants. I have always lived near the sea and believe that it is OUR responsibility to protect it.

Turtles have been around for a long time (millions of years) and represent our living past. I have dedicated most of my time to help protect them and spread the conservation message. To me, each one of you can bring his or her help to save the planet and the animals that coexists with us on it.

Why Seatao?

I decided to create a web site to promote all conservation efforts especially the organizations I have worked for. Those small NGO have a practical impact on the survival of sea turtles. They defend this ancient animal with a lot of passion and need our support.

I also believe that the internet is a powerful tool to communicate. Speaking different languages, I saw this web site as an opportunity to spread my word out there and get more people informed about the necessity to get involved.

Seatao is also an area for you to express yourself and come together to share information about sea turtle biology and conservation. But non only, there is space for people to put up their art in relation with the sea. Feel free to participate !!!
